A Brief History

Built in 1916 and designed by renowned architect Harold Nixon Porter, the building has a rich and elegant past. Converting one of Johannesburg’s heritage homes into a fitting venue was no easy task.   In 2008 after careful planning, this family-owned boutique conference and events venue was beautifully restored to reflect the tranquillity, charm and gracious style of a by-gone era whilst providing every convenience of a modern day conference facility.
